SUTTON 78 is an exhibition project that explores the relationship between art and architecture through site-specific installations in a penthouse on the 78th floor of Sutton Tower, the East Side's tallest waterfront skyscraper. It is the first in a developing line-up of highly site-aware shows conceived and managed by Hannah Halbheer and Annie Taylor under our subsidiary brand GSH Contemporary.
Embedded in the extraordinary spatial and emotional environment of the site, the project creates an intimate, immersive encounter with artworks by Kimsooja, Francisco Sierra, Zoë Buckman, Raphael Hefti and Victoria Holdt, emphasizing the experience of space alongside the act of viewing.

Since its opening during New York Art Week in May, SUTTON 78 has been a resounding success (Read: Beyond Advisory: GSH Contemporary's Artist-Driven Vision of the Future Debuts at Sutton Tower, by Elisa Carollo, Observer, 06/02/25) and viewing slots continue to fill up as soon as they are announced.
The exhibition can be visited by appointment only. Please get in touch with Annie to schedule your visit.
